Michael Leon Wright Jr. was called to eternal rest on Monday, July 3, 2017, at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center. He was loved by all, and he will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Laverne Wright.
He leaves to treasure his memories his father, Michael Wright Sr. (Wanda); grandmother, Beatrice Wright; stepbrother, Philip Callis; special cousin, Jerome Wright Jr; special friend, Kizzy Christian; and a host of other loving relatives and many caring friends.
A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, July 8, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald A. Ellis officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11 a.m. Saturday at 8592 Pocahontas Trail. Mr. Wright may be viewed only in the church beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday until the hour of his service.
