Gordon “Rick” Nickel, 68, of Williamsburg, passed away Monday, July 3, 2017. Rick was born in Williamson, N.Y., on April 9, 1949.
Rick loved woodworking, creating tables, furniture and even carvings. He enjoyed the outdoors, sightseeing, and traveling, but most of all he loved to spend time with his family and grandchildren.
Rick was preceded in death by his father, Frank Nickel; and brother, Butch Nickel.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Priscilla Nickel; son, Richard Nickel; daughter, Tammy Emery; grandchildren, John Rogers, Joseph Rogers, Thomas Rogers and Oliver Nickel.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at Bucktrout Funeral Home, 4124 Ironbound Road, Williamsburg.
