Therese Richards, 85, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, left her earthly home on Sunday, May 1, 2016, and went to be with the love of her life, Jack. She and Jack shared their love for over 55 years. They can no longer be separated by distance or time; Jack has his bride back for eternity.
Therese was born in Fall River, Mass. She spent many years, including several lengthy deployments, supporting her family as a devoted military spouse. She was a beloved Mémère to her grandchildren and opened her heart to so many others. During the holidays, she would bake cookies for those she loved.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Therese Linda Cooper, and her husband, Ed; son, Robert J. Richards, and his wife, Kathryn; grandchildren, Tamara, Adam and Robbie; four great-grandchildren, Morgan, Kailey, Abigail and Addison; and nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, and her husband, Peter, and Tommy, and his wife, Melissa.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, at Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her name to Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters.
