Norma Jacqueline ‘Jackie’ ‘Pee-Wee’ Cubilla, 80, passed on to be with her heavenly Father on Saturday, April 30, 2016.
She had retired from Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed cross-stitching and crocheting for many years. To most people, she was known as Jackie or Pee-Wee.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Lynn; and sister, Peggy Reynolds.
She is survived by her sons, John Ray, James Allen and Paulino Jerome (Leigh Annie); daughter, Julia Christine; and grandchildren, Christopher, Jason, Ashley, Cody, Jessica, Nick, Tyler, Crystal and Nick. She was loved by many and will be missed.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Park.
