Nancy Parrott Jordan, 85, died peacefully at Sentara Windemere on February 16, 2016.
She was born in Danville and was the daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy Parrott. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Mitchell and Drury Jordan; and a sister, Sue Parrott Elmore.
Ms. Jordan volunteered her time at DePaul Medical Center Gift Shop and had worked at Elle Fashions for Women. She loved to travel, especially the Islands of the Bahamas, and Grand Cayman.
She is survived by her son, Greg Jordan, and his wife, Laura; five grandchildren, Reid, Josh, Sydney, and Heather Jordan and Chelsea Corle; great-grandchild, Jackson Corle; and her former husband, Deck Jordan.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 19, at H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Rd Chapel. Interment will be private. The family invites friends and family back to the home of Greg and Laura Jordan following the service.
