Ernest Lee “Ernie” Henderson, 81, died on January 26, 2016. He was born in Thomasville, NC to the late James and Minnie Mae Henderson. Ernie served in the US Air Force and was a member of Freedom Fellowship Church, Virginia Beach.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marie M. Henderson; three children, Ernest L., Gerald and Michael; nine step-children; seven siblings, William, Lelia, Joyce, Mary, Griffin, James and Gregory; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Tuesday Feb 2, 2016 at 11AM followed by A Celebration of Life service 12pm at Freedom Fellowship Church, 836 Regency Dr. Virginia Beach with burial TBA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation in Ernie’s name.
