Jeanne Trostel Ferguson, 88, of Williamsburg, died on December 28, 2015.
Jeanne was born in Pennsylvania and retired from the U.S. Government as a secretary for the Department of Agriculture. She was a member of Walnut Hills Baptist Church, and enjoyed playing bridge, gardening and cooking, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert J. Ferguson. She is survived by her son, Steve Ferguson of Orange, VA; her daughter, Lisa Tyler and her husband, Terry Tyler, Jr. of Williamsburg, VA; grandchildren, Courtney Harris and her husband, Brad and Chris Tyler.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Jan. 2, 2016 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Road, Williamsburg, followed by a service at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in Pennsylvania.
