Joseph Michael Pasquarello, of Williamsburg, died Oct. 2, 2015, at the age of 60.

He was born on Nov. 15, 1954, in Philadelphia to Michael Pasquarello and Concetta Repice-Pasquarello. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Jessica Pasquarello-Vashaw.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Cheryl Slater-Pasquarello; daughter, Kristina Pasquarello, of Norfolk; brother, Michael Pasquarello and wife Barbara, of Killington, Vermont; grandson, Aidan; and granddaughter, Sophia.

Joseph graduated from Drexel University in 1977 and began his career as a professional engineer, working in both private industry and the federal government. He recently retired this past August and relocated to Williamsburg to be closer to loved ones.

His family was his true passion as he was a caring and devoted husband, father and grandfather. In his free time – between walks with his beloved Welsh Terrier, Brookie – he enjoyed completing home improvement projects, vacationing at the beach with his grandchildren and watching professional golf and football.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
