Julian Clyde Weeks, of Yorktown, died Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at the age of 66.
Julian was a native of Kansas and a Peninsula resident since 1986. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from the U.S. Army in 1994 after 27 years of service. After retirement, he was a government contractor.
He is survived by his son, Kevin Lyle Weeks and his wife Elizabeth; grandchildren, Julian Clyde Weeks II, Gabriel Kevin Weeks and Derrick Vincent Weeks; sister, Elizabeth Woods and her husband Nick; and brothers, David Weeks and his wife Maria and Vincent Weeks and his wife Linda, all of Kansas.
A celebration of Julian’s life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015, at Amory Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
