Iva Slater, of Williamsburg, died April 23, 2015, at the age of 85.
Iva was preceded in death by her husband, James Marion Slater.
She was a telephone operator for many years before opening her own business, Iva’s Ceramics Studio.
Iva is survived by her son, Jim Slater and brother, Dennis Mallory.
A visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday April 30, 2015, at Bucktrout Funeral Home followed by a service beginning at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Williamsburg Memorial Park.
