Julian Berry Thompson, 71, Ford Motor Company retiree

Julian Berry Thompson, of New Kent, died March 30, 2014, after a long battle with leukemia. He was 71.

He retired from Ford Motor Company.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy Thompson; son, J. Todd Thompson (Bonnie); daughter, Sherry Crocker (Todd); brothers, Robert “Pete” Thompson (Joy) and Charles Thompson (Mary); sister, Frances Thompson; grandchildren, Tracie Mooneyham, Robert and Collin Thompson and Christopher and Alison Crocker; and great-granddaughter, Kylie Morgan.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA, 23140. The family will also receive friends at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at Cornith Baptist Church, New Kent followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at the church cemetery.
