George William Rauchfuss, Jr., 75, practiced law

George William Rauchfuss, Jr. was a graduate of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania High School, was a Chemical Engineering graduate of The Pennsylvania State University and received his Juris Doctorate from the American University Washington College of Law.

Mr. Rauchfuss died Dec. 19, 2013, at the age of 75.

He was admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Rauchfuss specialized in Intellectual Property Law, was Senior Counsel at Ohlandt, Greeley, Ruggiero and Perle, in Stamford, Conn. and was also admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Many felt God’s presence through Mr. Rauchfuss and through his Bible studies and teachings. “The Lord Bless You and Keep You.”

He was born Sept. 22, 1938, to George William, Sr. and Ruby Beryl Hill Rauchfuss.

He is survived by his wife, Joanne; daughters, Amy Tucker and husband, Robert Tucker of Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., Meg Mitchell and husband, Guy Mitchell, of Ballston Lake, N.Y. and Laura (Greenwich, Conn.); grandchildren, Harley, Rachel and Jesse; brother, Neil; and sisters, Karen Weber and Sylvia Thomas.

A memorial service was held Dec. 22, 2013, at the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. A funeral service and interment will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013, at Stanwich Congregational Church, 202 Taconic Road, Greenwich, CT, 06831, with a reception immediately following.
