Moade T. Helms, a hard working family man, died Nov. 24, 2013. He was 75.
Mr. Helms never tired of looking after his family
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty and a daughter, Kathy Bryan Helms.
He is survived by two daughters, Lisa Shrader (Daniel) and Donna Dowdy (Stuart); sons, Randall Aplin (Diane), Ronnie Aplin (Cathy), Gary Helms (Debbie) and Dwayne Helms (Brenda); 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Myrle, Linda, Nell, Amy and Joann.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at Vincent Funeral Home, 9923 Pocahontas Trail, Providence Forge, VA, 23140, and a funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013, also at the funeral home with burial following at Washington Memorial Park.
