Register for William & Mary Summer Camps

The College of William & Mary is offering a variety of sports camps for all ages this summer.

Each camp is run and operated by Tribe coaches and players, with many featuring other collegiate and/or professional guest speakers and instructors.

Below is a rundown of camps being held on the College’s campus this summer.

Elite Girls Lacrosse Camp

When: Monday, June 23-Wednesday, June 25
Where: William & Mary campus

The Colonial Elite Lacrosse Summer Camp is a fun, learning experience designed to take your game to the collegiate level. Spend three days in Colonial Williamsburg with the Tribe Lacrosse staff, players, and other Division I college coaches covering concepts that will improve your skills and decision making. Scrimmages will be played in the evenings, while drills and small games will be played in the mornings and afternoons. Sessions will also include a strength and conditioning and speed session, as well as a recruiting Q&A with college coaches and current players. The camp is open for all high-school age athletes. Boys Basketball Camp

When: Monday, June 23-Thursday, June 26
Where: William & Mary Recreation Center

Any players ages 7 to 17 are encouraged to register. Campers will receive individual instruction from Coach Tony Shaver, his staff and players and other NCAA coaches as well as fundamental skill development, demonstrations and lectures from Tribe players and the opportunity to participate in five-on-five games. Nike Girls Basketball Camp

When:  Sunday, June 29-Thursday, July 3
Where: William & Mary Recreation Center

This inaugural program is intended to help players develop athletically and is a great opportunity for young basketball players looking to develop and refine their fundamental basketball skills. This program also includes a curriculum for intermediate/advanced players looking to enhance their skill set at the post, wing or guard position and emphasizes fundamental development, shooting, offensive moves, defense, rebounding, team play and more. W&M Nike Golf Camp

When: Sunday, July 13-Thursday, July 17
Where: Williamsburg National Golf Club

Nike Golf Schools & Junior Camps at College of William & Mary offer each junior golfer the same opportunity to succeed, regardless of the golfer’s starting point. The program offers a positive and fun learning environment, one in which campers can thrive under the direction of motivated and highly skilled instructors. In addition to daily instruction and course play, campers will enjoy fun downtime activities including supervised trips to history-rich Colonial Williamsburg located adjacent to the campus. John Daly Women’s Soccer Camps

When: July 13-16; July 20-23
Where: Busch Field (on campus)

Founded in the summer of 1988, John Daly’s soccer camp is one of the nation’s premiere girls’ soccer camps and is open to any and all entrants. Former campers include WUSA stars Carrie Moore, Casey Zimny and Sarah Kate Noftsinger. This summer will feature two sessions, one from Sunday, July 13 through Wednesday, July 16 and the other from Sunday, July 23 through Wednesday, July 26. Daly’s contacts in the sport of soccer mean that he can attract the best and most qualified coaches for his camp, many with international coaching experience. William and Mary Nike Tennis Camp

When: Sunday, July 20-Thursday, July 24
Where: Millie West Tennis Facility (on campus)

This program offers overnight and day camps for boys and girls ages 9-18 of all skill levels. At The College of William and Mary Nike Tennis Camp, the goal is to give players the opportunity to hit thousands of balls, improve their technique, and be challenged by some of the best players in their peer group. The camps combine technical instruction and drilling from a top notch coaching staff, supervised match play, and a variety of evening social activities. In addition to the general camp sessions, this year will offer a tournament training program which is geared toward tournament level and ranked players looking to improve their tournament results, learn winning strategies, and work on mental toughness. Colonial Kicks Boys Soccer Camps

When: Sunday, July 27-Wednesday, July 30
Where: William & Mary’s campus

Tribe Coach Chris Norris and his staff will hold three different camps — a goalkeeping academy, college ID program and summer soccer camp — that will all run simultaneously beginning Sunday, July 27 on William & Mary’s campus. The goalie academy will be directed by the Tribe’s goalkeeper trainer, Brendan Bourdage, is intense, focused and will train attendees three times a day covering all aspects of goalkeeping. All players who are rising 10th-graders or older will be placed in the camp’s College ID Program. Rising freshmen may also participate in this program with approval from the Camp Director, which will operate with the goal of providing campers with feedback regarding opportunities to compete in intercollegiate soccer. The summer soccer camp is for boys ages 10 and up and will group players with others of similar age and/or ability dependent upon enrollment. Click here to register.

East Coast Academic Baseball Camp

When: Monday, July 28-Tuesday, July 29
Where: Plumeri Park

This camp is open to any and all rising freshmen (2018), sophomores (2017), juniors (2016) and seniors (2015). It is a great opportunity for players to display their skills and learn the game of baseball from the William & Mary coaching staff and our players, as well as other college coaches from quality academic schools. The coaches will have an opportunity to work firsthand with the players during instructional stations and games, and fully evaluate each player in attendance. Colonial Field Hockey Day Camp

When: Friday, August 8-Saturday, August 9
Where: Busch Stadium (on campus)

Open to teams and/or individuals of all ages, this camp’s goal is to challenge each player to improve her individual skills as well as her understanding of team concepts. Sessions focus on skill development to enhance individual play, and small games to teach the concepts and strategies of team play. Goalkeepers receive specialized individual and group training throughout the entire camp. Additional special sessions may include topics such as sports psychology, team dynamics, international team experiences and video analysis.
