MERCHANTS SQUARE — A new WILLIAMSBURG-brand store is moving into Merchants Square.
Brick and Vine, a flagship WILLIAMSBURG-brand store of The Shops at Colonial Williamsburg, the official retail shops of The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, will hold a grand opening on Tuesday, May 4.
The store will house WILLIAMSBURG-brand home décor and furnishings.
“We are excited to bring this new shopping experience to Merchants Square, as we combine the best of our Colonial Williamsburg Shops in Merchants Square under one roof,” said Jeff Duncan, Colonial Williamsburg Foundation vice president of real estate.
This will be the first time that all of Colonial Williamsburg’s licensed furniture as well as decorative brands will be housed under one roof on Duke of Gloucester Street.
Brick and Vine will also cater to fans of Craft House, Williamsburg at Home, and Boxwood & Berry throughout to the two levels of the store. The new store will also be accessible to guests of Illy Caffe’.
Here is the schedule for next week’s grand opening:
1:30-1:45 – Crowd assembles outside Brick & Vine store at 431 W. Duke of Gloucester Street.
1:45-2:00 – A contingent from Colonial Williamsburg’s Fife & Drum Corps will open the ceremony
2:00-2:30 – Speeches and ribbon-cutting
2:30-2:45 – Fife & Drum Corps concludes the ceremony
2:45-7:00 – Brick & Vine open to the public
Grand opening festivities will also include door prizes and a raffle drawing. Details will be posted to The Shops at Colonial Williamsburg’s store promotions page on May 4.
