Newport News’ “Restaurant Week” is back for its seventh annual event but now with breakfast making its debut on the menu.
VEDeat, a health food breakfast restaurant, recently opened in City Center at Oyster Point and Kiln Creek’s Nest Kitchen & Bar have joined the list of participants offering $10 breakfast for the two-week long event.
Starting Jan. 11 at least 26 restaurants are offering a set “Restaraunt Week” menu where customers can choose between breakfast, two-course lunches for either $10 or $15, or three-course dinners for $20 or $30 until Jan. 25.
It’s a perfect opportunity to “visit those hotspots you’ve always wanted to try or return to neighborhood favorites you’ve loved for years,” spokespeople for Newport News Hospitality Association wrote in a release.
Familiars like Bonefish Grill and Harpoon Larry’s are part of the event but like newcomer VEDeats, restaurants Azzurri Italian Restaurant, Donatos Pizza, JT’s Bar & Grill, and Midtown Eats are joining in for the first time.
The association has put the event on since 2014 with support from the Newport News Tourism and Waters & Bridgman Marketing Solutions.
The list of “Restaurant Week” locations continues to grow daily so diners should visit the website for more information, menu options, and updates.
