Habana Hemingway Cafe is closed. Here’s why

The Habana Hemingway Cafe has temporarily closed because of a water pipe break.

“Due to a water pipe break, we are closed, making repairs, and remodeling,” the cafe wrote on its website. “Please visit us at our Grand Re-opening on Saturday March 23, 2019.”

It is unclear how long the restaurant has been closed prior to the website announcement. WYDaily made multiple calls to the cafe during operating hours which went unanswered.

The Habana Hemingway Cafe opened a little more than a year ago and is the only Cuban restaurant in Williamsburg.
