Three new businesses have signed leases with Settler’s Market.
New Concept Gifts is relocating from the Williamsburg Outlet Mall, which is closing at the end of the year, to Settler’s Market, which is located on Monticello Avenue in Williamsburg. The store will be opening between Shoe Carnival and dressbarn.
In September, store owner Henry Wan said he was working on a deal with Settler’s Market.
“We are very excited about moving to Settler’s Market … the Neighborhood Market Walmart just opened and the traffic down there is picking up and we are very happy,” Wan said in September.
Hi-Ho Silver will relocate from its current space in New Town to Settler’s Market sometime next year, likely in February or March. Leslie Sink, who co-owns the store with her husband, said she loves New Town, but needed a smaller space for the store.
“We just needed a more comfortable space, and we loved our time at New Town but decided not to renew because we were looking for a little bit of a different vibe,” Sink said. “We want to be where the women are. We feel like staying within that corridor between New Town and Settler’s Market is a very good fit for us. … We knew we wanted to stay within close proximity along that stretch.”
Hi-Ho Silver will be located in the same building as Noodles and Company. Sink said that building will likely be filled with small boutiques rather than larger, national stores.
“We will enjoy the traffic of some of the large nationals but be clustered along with smaller, unique businesses,” Sink said.
In the same building as Noodles and Company but on the opposite end, Pizzeria Marzano will open. Details about the business are not clear at this time.
