WILLIAMSBURG — Williamsburg Premium Outlets announced several new additions to its lineup of retailers in anticipation of the Holiday Shopping season.
New retailers include Forever 21, which opened its doors in September, a Yankee Candle Holiday Pop-Up store, and an upcoming Rack Room Shoes location.
Kathie Strauss, director of marketing and business development for Williamsburg and Norfolk Premium Outlets, told WYDaily that Rack Room Shoes will be open by Black Friday.
“We’re delighted to have Yankee Candle have a presence at the center for the holidays,” said Strauss. “The pop-up concept is one that they’re working on at several centers, and certainly in Williamsburg. We were delighted to have a Yankee Candle presence back and available for our shoppers.”
The Yankee Candle Holiday Pop-up store is a temporary location and has already opened its doors to early holiday shoppers. The seasonal location will remain open until sometime in January.
The pop-up store is located next to The North Face, and it focuses on holiday fragrances and holiday scents, Strauss said.
“They actually have the Williamsburg Pineapple fragrance,” said Strauss. “This is the only store that carries the Williamsburg Pineapple Fragrance because it was always dedicated to the Williamsburg area, and it is back again for this holiday.”
“The holiday traditions were such an important part of Yankee Candle’s period in Williamsburg,” added Strauss. “We’re thrilled with all of our new retailers but it’s kind of a special treat to have Yankee Candle back with us again for the holidays.”
All of the outlet’s retailers are aiming to offer savings for Black Friday shoppers. However, Strauss says that many of those retailers have already begun launching deals early for those who wish to get ahead of the crowds.
The new Forever 21 location is a true “outlet location” that Strauss says offers significant savings to shoppers.
“It’s truly a great way to get those stocking stuffers or to pick up some stuff for the teenagers and young folks who are maybe a little more difficult to shop for,” said Strauss. “This is a great place to check out and find something for them.”
Williamsburg Premium Outlets will offer extended hours on Black Friday. The center will open early for the retailers that are offering Door Busters sales at 6 a.m. on Black Friday, and the outlets will remain open until 9 p.m.
