JAMES CITY COUNTY — James City County Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a gunshot victim Tuesday afternoon at the 2600 block of Chickahominy Road.
According to JCCPD, the police and fire departments responded to the call at approximately 1:38 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located a man, later identified as 38-year-old James City County resident Alfred Lamont Johnson, suffering from a gunshot wound.
Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The investigation remains active.
