W&M Men’s Basketball Adds Miles Hicks and Nick Evans

WILLIAMSBURG — William & Mary head coach Dane Fischer announced the additions of incoming freshmen 6-1 guard Miles Hicks (Upper Marlboro, Md. / Saint Albans) and 6-9 forward Nick Evans (Alexandria, Va. / Gonzaga) to the Tribe men’s basketball roster for the 2022-23 season.

“We are thrilled to announce the addition of Miles Hick and Nick Evans to the Tribe Basketball Family,” Fischer said. “Both young men come from outstanding high school programs and will be a great fit with our team and our campus community.”

Hicks and Evans join a group of seven newcomers to the Tribe program. The duo joins a trio  fellow incoming freshmen in 6-7 guard/forward Jack Karasinski (Grand Rapids, Mich. / Catholic Central), 6-10 forward Charlie Williams (Carmel, Ind. / Carmel) and 6-5 guard Chase Lowe (Charlotte, N.C. / Weddington). The Tribe also added four transfers in 6-0 guard Nelson Anders (Edina, Minn. / Edina / St. Thomas), 6-3 guard Chris Mullins (Grand Prairie, Texas / Mansfield Timberview / Rice), 6-5 guard Matteus Case (Pickering, Ontario / Chaminade Prep / Providence) and 6-8 forward Noah Collier (Mullica Hill, N.J. / Westtown School (Pa.) / Pittsburgh).
