YORKTOWN — The York County School Division School Board is scheduled to meet for its monthly work session at 6 p.m. in the East Room of York Hall, 301 Main St.
During the work session, the Board will get an update on how York County School Division (YCSD) will use the $5.2 million grant it received from the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) III plan.
ESSER III is part of the 2021 COVID-19 stimulus package, American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
In addition to the regular work session, the Board will meet for two closed sessions.
According to the session’s agenda, the first closed session will be in relation to two pieces of land that are owned by the School Board on Waller Mill Road and George Washington Highway, respectively.
The second closed session will take place after the work meeting. The agenda states that the Board will consider approving revisions regarding YCSD’s COVID-19 mitigation strategies.
The work meeting will be open to the public and are broadcast live on YCSD-TV (Cox Cable channel 47 and Verizon channel 39) and on our YouTube channel.
