NEWPORT NEWS — The Dreams of Hope Foundation is hosting a free mental illness program on Wednesday.
It’s for anyone charged or incarcerated and diagnosed with a mental illness.
According to the event’s Facebook page, attendees will learn about mental health disorders including how to live with the disorder, discuss barriers about post-incarceration and receive access to various resources.
The I’m Mentally Prepared event is at the Dreams of Hope Foundation, 6910 Warwick Blvd. on Wednesday, Dec. 19 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
