NEWPORT NEWS — The Pearl Bailey Library is hosting a free workshop to help high school students prepare for college.
The workshop is for high school students and their families. Pre-registration is encouraged and space is limited.
According to the library’s event page, the workshop explores topics such as time management skills in college. Guest speakers include two librarians from Christopher Newport University, Bethany Young and Matt Shelley.
The Getting Down to Business: Life Habits, Study Habits and Research Strategies Needed in College workshop is at the Pearl Bailey Library, 2510 Wickham Ave. on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m.
