NEWPORT NEWS — Riverside Health System‘s facilities and providers now accepts Optima Health insurance.
“Optima Health welcomes Riverside providers and facilities to its existing robust network of providers,” said Dennis Matheis, Optima Health president.
On Nov.15, Optima Health added more than 600 Riverside providers throughout Hampton Roads and the Eastern Shore, according to Sentara Healthcare‘s announcement.
Dr. Mike Dacey, vice president of Riverside Health System, believes this change will help business and employees access services including rehabilitation, home health care and hospice.
“It will also help keep insurance premium costs down in the longer term,” Dacey said.
