If you love fence art, you might want to check this out

NEWPORT NEWS — Members of the community, including City Council, police and planning department, worked together with students, staff and volunteers to decorate the Marshall Early Learning Center‘s fence recently.

The fence art is actually ribbon woven through the school’s surrounding fence and depicts mountains, trees and other various art designs, some of which were submitted by residents, according to a news release from the city.

It was completed Oct. 19 and is one of the Choice Neighborhood Initiative‘s many projects to transform the southeast Marshall-Ridley neighborhood.

The fence are is currently displayed at the Marshall Early Learning Center, 743 24th St.
