Craft beef festival benefits local charities

HAMPTON — Proceeds from the Beer on the Beach craft beer festival will benefit the Center for Child and Family Services and the Buckroe Improvement League.

Tickets cost $30 in advance and includes a tasting glass and unlimited beer tastings.

According to the event page, attendees can sample “more than 20 different beers,” purchase seafood, BBQ and other cuisine from local food trucks.

There will also be blues musicians from Hampton Roads, including Bobby BlackHat.

The 2018 Beer on the Beach Buckroe Beach Beer Festival is Nov. 3, noon to 6 p.m. at the Buckroe Beach and Park, 100 N. 1st St.
