NEWPORT NEWS — The city announced that the Denbigh-Warwick Area Plan community survey is now available online for its residents.

The survey is the result of the community meeting hosted by the city’s Department of Planning in July.

According to the city news release, the Denbigh-Warwick Area Plan aims to “establish an identity” for the area, “improve” the health, safety and “quality of life” in the community and “stimulate” the local economy through “investments” on Warwick Boulevard.

One of the proposed ideas in the plan is to expand or relocate Grissom Library and the Municipal Services Complex, according to a news release from the city.

The Denbigh-Warwick Area Plan Community survey will be available until Nov. 12.
