HAMPTON — Hampton Fire and Rescue will be hosting the city’s one and only Five-Alarm Festival (formerly the Five Alarm Chili Festival) on Oct. 6, from noon – 4 p.m. at Syms Middle School on Fox Hill Road.
This family-friendly festival is free and open to the public.
It will include a bounce house, obstacle course, face painting, balloon artist and more.
In addition to the fun, there will be various pieces of firefighting equipment on display, fire safety information will be available and kids will be able to meet Taylor, Hampton’s award-winning accelerant dog.

The festival is no longer incorporating the chili cook-off component.
Refreshments will be provided.
