HAMPTON — The Charles Taylor Visual Arts Center is hosting its 2018 annual Virginia Artists Juried Exhibition through Oct. 7.
The competition will showcase the talents of many of Virginia’s finest artists and craft workers.
It features a total of $7,500 in cash awards, including a $1,500 best in Show, a $1,000 David J. Levinson Photography Award and awards in each media including drawing, printmaking, painting, crafts, watercolor, mixed media and sculpture, according to the center’s website.
Some 108 artworks in all styles, genres and media will be selected and some presented with awards by Seth Feman, curator of exhibitions and curator of photography at the Chrysler Museum of Art.
