HAMPTON — A swimming advisory has been issued for Buckroe South Beach after water test results Monday exceeded the normal bacteria levels.
The advisory will remain in effect through the Fourth of July, said Bernard Hill, spokesman for the Virginia Department of Health.
He said new tests will be conducted Thursday to determine if the bacteria levels are back to normal.
