
NEWPORT NEWS — A NASA Langley Research Center scientist will host a discussion on the impact of Arctic climate change on Hampton Roads.
Patrick Taylor will speak at 6:30 p.m. on April 19 at the Virginia Living Museum.
Taylor will present his research on the unprecedented changes to Arctic temperatures and the effects on Hampton Roads, according to a news release.
The talk is scheduled for 20 minutes. There will be a question and answer session following the presentation.
Taylor’s presentation is part of the museum’s Naturally Speaking Series, which takes place every third Thursday of each month through June.
The event is free but the museum asks that attendees register before hand.
