Saint Leo University’s Newport News education center will have a new look.
The university will unveil a new cybersecurity lab, a military resource center, along with more classrooms and a study lounge, during a grand opening on April 17, according to a news release from the university.
“We are excited about the growth of Saint Leo University’s Newport News location and the opportunity to provide quality education to area residents,” said Michael Godfrey, area director of Saint Leo’s Virginia Peninsula teaching locations, in the news release. “This expansion allows Saint Leo to offer the latest in cybersecurity education as well as a home away from home for our student-veterans and military students.”
The university offers a multitude of degrees including criminal justice, business administration, sociology and information technology. Saint Leo University also has campuses in Hampton and Chesapeake.
Registration is underway for the summer semester that begins on April 30 and continues to June 24.
