
YORK COUNTY— Personnel with the York County Department of Fire and Life Safety rescued an individual who became stranded in a creek in the Seaford area Monday night.
At approximately 8:45 p.m. March 9, crews were dispatched to the 100 block of Cheadle Loop Road after a nearby resident reported hearing someone calling for help and dialed 911.
When first responders arrived, they located an adult stuck in the mud in the middle of the creek. Crews used a kayak to reach the individual and safely bring them back to shore.
The person was evaluated at the scene and later transported to Riverside Regional Medical Center.
