WILLIAMSBURG — Frothy Moon Brewhouse and the Piha Aloha food truck are partnering to bring Polynesian culture to Williamsburg as a send-off to summer.

On Sat. Aug. 23, Frothy Moon and Piha Aloha will come together for “Luau and Lagers” at the brewhouse on Jamestown Road. From 3-9 p.m., the luau will feature entertainment, island-inspired food, and a limited run of lager, soda and coffee beverages.

“When visiting Hawaii, one of the attractions is a Luau that shares the different Polynesian cultures through food, music and dance. We are honored to be able to bring a part of our culture to Williamsburg through Frothy Moon Brewhouse. We noticed the Luau theme has been used throughout Williamsburg. We figured, why not create an event that brings authenticity to the area? Our family are from the islands and to be able to share the Aloha Spirit is a honor and a privilege,” shared Lito Carlos, owner of Piha Aloha food truck.

The luau will also feature Hawaiian live music, a local island-inspired vendor market, hula lessons, Tahitian and Samoan dancers and fire dancers after the sun goes down.

“The luau is more than just a feast — it’s a vibrant celebration of Polynesian heritage, community, and storytelling. At Frothy Moon Brewhouse, we’re honored to host this event as a way to share the richness of these traditions with our guests. From the island-inspired lager, to the hula, to traditional dance — every detail is a nod to the deep cultural significance of the luau. We hope it sparks curiosity, respect, and joy for all who join,” said Frothy Moon owner Conor Halfpenny.
