Atlantic Union Bank Partners with Feed More on ‘Bank on Ending Hunger’ Initiative

Atlantic Union Bank and Feed More have partnered on a “bank on ending hunger” initiative. For every checking account opened between June 1 and Aug. 31, the bank donates four meals to families in need.

Feed More and Atlantic Union Bank have worked together for more than ten years. Over the course of that partnership, Atlantic Union Bank said it has helped Feed More with its deposit and cash management needs, with financing for loans and philanthropic grants.

Fort Monroe Foundation Names Aazia Mrozinski as Executive Director

The Fort Monroe Foundation announced that Aazia Mrozinski has assumed the role of Executive Director as of July 1.

A national leader in start-ups, innovation, and placemaking, Mrozinski brings a record of building communities through bold vision, collaboration, and storytelling rooted in cultural landscapes, the foundation said.

Mrozinski has held roles including Executive Director of Ecosystem Development for Hampton Roads at Techstars, Director of the Office of Innovation at Zel Technologies, and Director of Reaktor, the business incubator at the National Institute of Aerospace. She also created the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel Regional Landmark Initiative and has contributed thought leadership to the World Economic Forum, Climate Reality Leadership Corps, and Cox Business. Mrozinski has been recognized as one of five Emerging Global Entrepreneurs by the White House and was named to Inside Business’s Top 40 Under 40.

Fort Monroe is a National Historic Landmark and a UNESCO Site of Memory associated with the Slave Route. The Fort Monroe Foundation supports the preservation, interpretation, and celebration of this historic site through fundraising, advocacy, and community engagement.

Jeanne Kent, of Williamsburg, celebrated her 100th birthday with 94 family members and friends at The Whaling Company in July.

Dominion Energy Declares Quarterly Dividend of 66.75 Cents

The board of directors of Dominion Energy recently declared a quarterly dividend of 66.75 cents per share of common stock.

Dividends are payable on Sept. 20 to shareholders of record at the close of business Sept. 5.

This is the 390th consecutive dividend that Dominion Energy or its predecessor company has paid holders of common stock, it said. The company’s last quarterly dividend was declared May 7.
