WILLIAMSBURG — Bier Fest is returning to Busch Gardens Williamsburg Fridays and Saturdays Aug. 1 through Sept. 1.
According to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, visitors can expect over 80 craft brews from 60 breweries, including 39 local Virginia favorites, and more than 20 all-new specialty barbecue dishes across the park. In addition to culinary and beverage delights, Bier Fest Brews & BBQ also includes live, local entertainment on the Prost Patio in Oktoberfest.
Described by Busch Gardens as “a perfect blend of classic Oktoberfest charm,” the menu for this year’s Bier Fest Brews & BBQ festival is a blend of savory and sweet dishes.
New barbecue-inspired menu offerings include:
- Corn Ribs — Crispy battered corn-on-the-cob ribs with a BBQ ranch drizzle.
- Pulled Pork BBQ Trio — A classic dish served three ways — Virginia, Sweet and Carolina Gold style.
- BBQ Turkey Club — Roasted turkey, smoked bacon and lettuce topped with barbecue and avocado aioli.
- Sweet Onion Hushpuppies — Sweet and savory hushpuppies served with a Chesapeake tartar sauce.
- Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie — A mix of chocolate, bourbon and pecan on a shortbread crust.
- Icebox Blueberry Cheesecake — A no-bake cheesecake with blueberry topping and graham cracker crust
Over 80 different kinds of drinks will also be on rotation during the event.
Featured new additions include:
- Ginger Passion Fruit Iced Tea — House-brewed iced tea with passion fruit and ginger
- Dragon Fruit Pink Lemonade — Sweetened lemonade with dragon fruit
- Spicy Mango Iced Tea — House-brewed iced tea with spicy mango and a Tajin rim
