
Effective Saturday, May 28, parking fees for nonresidents visiting Jamestown Beach Event Park will be back in force.
The nonresident fee is charged Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on weekends and holidays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.
2022 Nonresident Parking Fees:
- Passenger Vehicle (up to 8 passengers):
- Weekdays: $5
- Weekends & Holidays: $10
High Occupancy Vehicle (9-15 passengers):
- Weekdays: $15
- Weekends & Holidays: $20
Bus (16 or more passengers):
- Weekdays: $30
- Weekends & Holidays: $30
There is no parking fee for James City County or City of Williamsburg residents. Proof of residency is required, such as a valid driver’s license or valid Virginia identification card showing a current address. If the driver’s license or identification card does not show a current address, residents may present a current lease agreement, utility bill or voter registration card along with ID.
Parking decals are no longer issued, but previously issued decals are still valid. Decals that are not readable will no longer be valid and will not be replaced.
Visitors should stop at the gate to pay fees or prove residency. Cash, credit/debit cards and checks are accepted.
