JAMES CITY COUNTY — Construction has started construction on the ramp and sidewalk to the off-leash dog area at Veterans Park, 3793 Ironbound Rd.
The construction is expected to be completed by Jan. 17, weather permitted, according to James City County Parks and Recreation.
The off-leash dog area will remain open during construction and the public is asked to use caution when visiting.
While the main entrances are closed during construction, citizens are being asked to use the back entrances to the off-leash dog area and to be mindful of unleashed dogs when entering and exiting.
