Wreaths Across America Will Place Christmas Wreaths at Yorktown National Cemetery

YORKTOWN — Wreaths Across America will be at Yorktown National Cemetery, 1000 Colonial Parkway, on Saturday, Dec. 18 to place fresh Christmas wreaths on grave markers.

At noon, there will be a remembrance ceremony conducted by the U.S. Coast Guard Training Center Yorktown and members of local organizations to honor fallen war veterans.

Each December, Wreaths Across America holds wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 2,500 additional locations across the country, to remember and honor fallen veterans for National Wreaths Across America Day.
