YORK COUNTY — Tabb Library has lit the Bat Signal.
Young citizens of Gotham are invited to join the Youth Services Department at Tabb Library, 100 Long Green Blvd, to celebrate Batman Day on Saturday, Sept. 18.
Typically held on the third day of September, Batman Day is an annual event held to celebrate the iconic hero.
The first Batman Day was held on July 23, 2014 to coincide with the 75th anniversary of Batman’s first appearance in the Detective Comics in 1939.
Children can take part in super activities at Tabb Library between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Dressing in Batman hero or villain costumes is optional.
This event is recommended for children grades preschool-fifth. No registration is required.
