Missing 56-year-old James City County man found safe

Update 10:45 a.m. Nov. 24:

Donald Piggott, 56, of James City County, has been found safe in York County, police spokeswoman Stephanie Williams said.

James City County Police are looking for a man who has been missing since Monday.

Donald Piggott, 56, was last seen leaving his house in the 3000 block of Friendship Drive on foot around 11 a.m. Monday, police said in a news release.

Piggott suffers from a cognitive impairment and medical conditions that pose a “credible threat” to his health and safety, police said.

Police say Piggott is black and has black hair, brown eyes and a full beard. He is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 100 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a Jaguars baseball cap and a black Adidas hooded sweatshirt.
