Original story: A crash on Interstate 64 in Lightfoot has backed up traffic for miles Friday.
The Virginia Department of Transportation said on Twitter that drivers should expect major delays on I-64 westbound past Lightfoot as a result of a crash.
Traffic was backed up for 3 miles at mile marker 233 as of 2:15 p.m. Both travel lanes are blocked, and vehicles are currently being directed down the right shoulder.
