Busch Gardens Williamsburg is known for its gardens and groomed landscape, and for the 28th consecutive year, it has been recognized at the World’s Most Beautiful Theme Park.

“The award reflects our commitment to ensuring a world class guest experience in a setting that exemplifies beauty and quality which are hallmarks of Busch Gardens Williamsburg,” said park President Kevin Lembke in a release from the park. “Our teams work so hard every day and are dedicated to the beautification of our park.”

The National Amusement Park Historical Association sends out an annual amusement park and attractions survey. Since 1990, Busch Gardens has maintained a winning streak.

The association is an international organization dedicated to the preservation, documentation and enjoyment of the amusement and theme park industry, according to their website.

The annual survey covers different aspects of parks and is completed by association members that have experience with amusement parks. The average member has been to more than 120 different amusement parks and has ridden about 315 roller coasters.

Other award categories include best theme park for families and favorite wood roller coaster.
