A second person has been arrested in connection with a shooting at a Second Street hotel last week.

Williamsburg Police arrested Heidi Lynn Stoeckl, 33, of James City County on Saturday in connection with the April 9 shooting, police spokesman Maj. Greg Riley said.

Stoeckl is charged with aggravated assault and brandishing a firearm.

Police also think two other people may have been involved in the shooting, but no charges had been filed as of 11:45 a.m. Monday, Riley said.

Police responded to a shooting around 11:45 p.m. April 9 in the 300 block of Second Street, where they found a 38-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the arm.

The victim told police he had been involved in an argument with George Antonio Jimmison, 38.

Jimmison, a James City County resident, allegedly fired one round while he and the victim were in the parking lot outside the hotel, Riley said.

The victim was taken to Riverside Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, which were not considered life-threatening.

During the investigation, police determined additional people were involved in the assault and with Jimmison, one of whom was Stoeckl, Riley said.

Police obtained arrest warrants Friday and arrested Stoeckl on Saturday.

Online court records for Williamsburg-James City County General District Court show Stoeckl was in custody as of noon Monday.

She is scheduled to appear again for a hearing at 1 p.m. May 24 in district court.
