Police are looking for a man who they believe robbed a Speedway gas station in the 3000 block of Richmond Road Saturday.

Officers were called to the Speedway around 5:20 p.m. Saturday in response to an armed robbery, according to a Williamsburg Police Department news release.

Police say the man entered the store, drew a handgun and demanded money from the clerk.

The man left with an undisclosed amount of money from the register and left in an unknown direction.

There were no injuries during the incident, the release said.

Officers spoke to the clerk working at the Speedway, who described the man as a black male about 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall.

The man was wearing a blue hooded coat as he entered the store, the release said.

Those with any information on this incident should contact Crime Stoppers at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP or the Williamsburg Police Department at 757-220-2331.
