FBI offers $10K reward for information leading to missing Virginia Beach teen

VIRGINIA BEACH — The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the discovery of a missing 19-year-old college student.

According to the Virginia Beach Police Department, Ashanti Markaila Billie was last seen around 4 a.m. on Sept. 18 in the 4400 block of Bonney Road at Midtown at Town Center Apartments.

She did not show up for her classes near Town Center or to her job near Shore Drive and Little Creek Road the following day, according to the VBPD.

Police originally asked the public to notify them if they spotted Billie’s cream-colored Mini Cooper. The car was located on Sunday.

Before her car was located, some of Billie’s property was found in another jurisdiction.

“Due to the uncharacteristic behavior of her not showing up to neither work or school and that her personal property was located in another jurisdiction, Billie is being considered a missing person under suspicious circumstances,” a VBPD press release states.

She is described as being 4-feet-11-inches and weighing about 133 pounds.

Anyone with information the location of Billie should call the VBPD at 757-385-5000 or Virginia Beach Crime Solvers at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP.
