Police are on the look-out for a thief believed to have stolen assorted jewelry following an early Sunday morning heist at Boyer’s Diamond & Gold Source, according to a James City County police report.
At 2:45 p.m. police responded to an alarm from the Richmond Road shop. Upon arrival, police found the front door shattered and the jewelry counter cases broken, according the James City County spokeswoman Stephanie Williams.
Police say assorted jewelry with an undisclosed value was taken from the counter cases.
