
Police are searching for a man who robbed a York County bank shortly after noontime Friday.
At about 12:38 p.m., police responded to a call at the Union Bank located in the 5000 block of George Washington Memorial Highway, Route 17.
Witnesses told police a male, described as about 6-feet tall, very muscular and wearing a dark-colored mask entered the bank.
When he approached the teller and inferred he had a gun, he was given an undisclosed amount of money and left on foot. No gun was actually displayed and no one was injured, police said.
The man was last seen wearing a dark colored mask, a hoodie and a yellow safety vest.
