James City County is inviting residents to attend a county-sponsored neighborhood forum social Wednesday evening.
The event will feature JCC Police Chief Brad Rinehimer and other county officials in an open discussion regarding community issues.
According to a county news release, the program will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the James City County Recreation Center at 5301 Longhill Road. First-time participants are encouraged to attend, and all guests are asked to register online in advance. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.
“The Neighborhood Forum is a great starting point to find out about County programs, services, events and how you can get involved,” the release stated. “[It’s] a welcome invitation for new participants who want to become more active and engaged citizens as well as a ‘thank you’ to regular attendees.”
According to the James City County website, the Neighborhood Forum is a bimonthly meeting open to all residents of James City County. The meetings are held the second Wednesday of every other (odd) month at 6:30 p.m. at the James City County Recreation Center.
